RoCEv2 Verification IP (VIP)

Truechip’s RoCEv2 Verification IP helps verification teams check designs that use RDMA over Converged Ethernet version 2 (RoCEv2), where RDMA transport runs over UDP/IP so traffic can be routed across data centre networks. RoCEv2 keeps the InfiniBand transport and verbs semantics unchanged and only swaps the link and physical layers for Ethernet, so applications use RDMA without any change.

• Supports high-performance RDMA Write, Read, Atomic, Send, Receive and Write with Immediate Data operations.
• Implements memory registration, protection, access permissions and L_Key/R_Key validation for secure memory access.
• Manages Work Queues, Work Queue Entries (WQEs), Completion Queues (CQs) and Completion Queue Entries (CQEs).
• Provides Queue Pair state management, atomic operations (Fetch-and-Add and Compare-and-Swap), transport headers and asynchronous event handling.
• Supports RoCEv2 over Ethernet (L2) and IP (L3) layers with IPv4 and IPv6, including VLAN-tagged frames, at Ethernet speeds up to 1.6T
